who we are
AFOCAL was born out of the desire to solve complex problems. We focus on launching, aiding, + scaling deserving concepts that can grow into the products, services, + ventures that will help direct the future of the human species.
Through media, technology, + design we believe we can help tackle some of the largest problems that plague our existence. These problems are no more paramount than in the vast categories of civilization + exploration.
Our civilization has been evolving since the realization of the construct of time itself. This dramatic progress is threatened by imminent issues such as climate change, population collapse, + overconsumption. With a desire to keep the engine of progress marching forward, we continue to seek nascent solutions to combat these critical issues.
Looking beyond, our generational desire to explore has evolved human beings into the ultimate explorers. The desire to see the universe has accelerated the advent of numerous technologies that have benefited everything from healthcare to nutrition. Our love of the natural world has inspired + catalyzed a movement to live less impactful, more sustainable lives. These factors force us to push deeper not only within the vast wilderness on this planet, but to our own solar system & beyond.
While AFOCAL’s primary focus remains on solving complex problems, we also dream of doing more. We plan on launching educational resources in the form of courses, events, + workshops that will help train & inspire the next generation of unreasonable humans. Later on in 2022 we will launch the AFOCAL store: an exclusive collection of amazing gear, products, + art from members of our tribe. Looking ahead, our eventual goal is to be able to incubate our own ideas and turn them into ventures that continue the progress of our species.
In the meantime you will find us heads down, deep into our work until we are able to prove our ability to the rest of the world. We look forward to sharing this journey with as many unreasonable humans as we can.
